INFANT is now accepting applications for the post of Research Support Officer - Admin & Account Technician. The Accounting Technician will play a central role in supporting the financial management and administration of the INFANT Research Centre at University College Cork. This position involves financial reporting, budgeting, procurement processing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and funding requirements.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with research teams, UCC finance personnel, and external stakeholders to ensure the efficient financial operations of the centre. This position is initially for 12 months, pending the completion of the organisational finance transformation.
We seek a progressive, forward-thinking Senior Accounting Technician to join the INFANT team and the wider finance community. The role reports to the Head of Research Accounting in the Central Finance Office, with potential for direct reporting in the future.
