Job Description
The Site Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting and coordinating civil and electrical works on-site. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and adherence to technical standards, this position assists in ensuring successful project execution within programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Design Review: Review project designs, drawings, and specifications;
* Programme Management: assist in producing detailed baseline programmes using Microsoft Project;
* Schedule Monitoring: monitor and track project schedules;
* Progress Reporting: provide progress updates and technical reports to the Project Manager and client;
* Risk Identification: support in identifying risks, delays, and critical path activities;
* Extension of Time Claims: assist in preparing extension of time claims where required;
* Cost Control: review and monitor project costs against budgets;
* Variance Analysis: flag any variances and propose corrective measures;
* Scope Variations: assist in identifying scope variations and provide input for negotiating additional costs with the client;
* Document Control: prepare and issue required project documentation and records in line with contractual obligations;
* Technical Support: provide technical support to site teams including Site Agents, Supervisors, and QS staff;
* HSEQ Compliance: support the preparation and review of Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS), electrical safety procedures, and other HSEQ documentation;
* Audit and Inspection: carry out inspections and assist with site audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and electrical standards;
* Clients and Stakeholders: liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve design and coordination issues, proposing practical solutions;
* Statutory Compliance: ensure all electrical installations comply with statutory regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards;
