The Opportunity
Our client is one of the fastest-growing Fund Service providers by AUA (Assets under Administration). This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious funds candidate to join our client's depositary business at this pivotal stage in its development in the Irish market. Reporting to the Head of Depositary Operations, you will have a broad, challenging and rewarding role providing unique exposure and career progression opportunities.

The Depositary Services team currently provides depositary services to Irish UCITS and Alternative fund structures (AIFs), as well as depositary lite services to third country investment funds.
The Depositary Supervisor is an essential hire for our client, and will be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring of client funds to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Central Bank of Ireland, the funds' constitutional documents, internal procedures and policies. In addition to the core Depositary duties, he/she will provide guidance and mentorship to Analysts and Senior Analysts.
The Position
* Monitoring regulatory and prospectus investment restrictions.
* Review calculations of the funds NAVs and Transfer Agency activities and escalation with fund parties (Investment Manager/Administrator) as appropriate
* Daily cash flow monitoring and asset verification checks
* Investigation, documentation of and escalation of breaches, pricing and other errors to Management and/or Administrator/IM and updating the regulatory / prospectus breach and error registers
* Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of procedures
* Providing mentorship and guidance to Analysts and Senior Analysts
* Providing support to Analysts in planning for onsite visits to Administrators, AIFMs/UCITS Managers and Prime Brokers/Custodians
The Individual
* A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred
* 3+ years of experience within Depositary or wider fund services with a desire to progress and gain more responsibility.
* Demonstrate familiarity of fund structures, fund Regulations including UCITS Regulations and AIFMD
* Proactive, focused attitude towards work and an ability to plan and consistently meet deadlines.
* Demonstrate good written and oral communication, and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail
