My client, a leading firm of accountants and business advisors, with offices in Dublin are currently experiencing strong growth in their Outsourced Accounting department.
This team prepare financial statements, management accounting and supports ad hoc finance projects for a mix of international and indigenous companies.
Due to this growth, they are looking to hire an Outsourced Accounting Director and this person may be either a qualified accountant working as Senior Manager / Director in a similar Outsourced Accounting department or as a Senior Manager / Director within a general practice firm currently working across a mix of accounting, tax and audit but perhaps looking to specialise more in financial and management accounting and not audit.
Alternatively, somebody who trained in practice up until qualified level but has spent a number of years working within a medium - large industry company would be a good fit.
This person will play a key role in the ongoing growth of the department and enjoy strong career progression.
There is a competitive salary on offer for the right person and flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week, if desired.
The Role: Building and maintaining relationships with a portfolio of clients.
Overseeing and reviewing the preparation of work by a team preparing management accounts and financial reporting for a mix of Irish and International clients.
Coordinating and collaborating with the local and international leadership team on cross-border projects and business development initiatives.
Contributing to the operational management and direction of the team, including certain business development initiatives.
Providing mentorship to junior staff, and work on attracting, developing, and retaining the best talents for the firm.
The Person will be motivated, ambitious and confident who seeks a fresh challenge with a rapidly expanding firm Qualified ACA or ACCA accountant with at least five years PQE Strong Outsourced Accounting and / or Financial Accounting experience, with at least 5 years within a progressive accountancy firm.
Excellent client relationship management skills Commercially focused with good practice development and interpersonal skills Proficiency with accounting software packages along with Microsoft applications Strong communication and leaderships skills Team player with experience in managing staff.
