Senior Accountant
to join a highly regarded firm in Cork. In this role, you will take ownership of client portfolios, provide strategic guidance, and play a key part in shaping the future direction of the practice. This position is ideal for a motivated accountant who enjoys client interaction, leadership, and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
* Act as a trusted advisor to a varied client base, building and maintaining strong long-term relationships.
* Oversee preparation of financial statements in line with FRS102 and IFRS.
* Manage corporation tax and income tax filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Ensure all submissions to Revenue and the Companies Registration Office (CRO) are fully compliant.
* Conduct detailed file reviews to maintain quality and regulatory standards.
* Mentor and support junior accountants, fostering growth and team performance.
* Identify client challenges and provide practical, tailored solutions that add real business value.
The Ideal Candidate
* Fully qualified accountant with at least 2 years' PQE.
* Proven experience within practice, ideally managing a portfolio of clients.
* Strong technical knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS.
* Commercially aware with a clear understanding of client needs.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport.
* Previous leadership or mentoring experience is a strong advantage.
