Our client, a leading provider of professional technical and property services, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the procurement, development, and maintenance of a diverse healthcare estate portfolio. You will be responsible for managing capital and minor works projects from initial brief through to commissioning, ensuring all building services, plant, and equipment meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for building and refurbishment works, including preparation of briefs, design services, and contract documentation. Advise on the selection of Design Teams and Contractors; manage the tender process and supervise site implementation. Manage project budgets, monitor expenditure, and approve fee accounts and contractor payments. Develop planned maintenance routines for buildings and equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. Support the Property Manager in asset registration, title records, and space utilization assessments. Act as the senior administrative officer for regulatory permissions (licenses, certificates, and approvals). Coordinate fire prevention measures and health & safety risk assessments. Monitor energy consumption and implement investment proposals for energy-saving projects. Requirements A Level 8 (or higher) QQI major academic award in Architecture, Engineering, or Surveying accredited by the SCSI, RICS, Engineers Ireland, or RIAI. Full Professional Membership (Chartered status) of the SCSI, RICS, Engineers Ireland (Full/Chartered only), or be on the RIAI Register for Architects. A qualification deemed equivalent to the above. Minimum of 7 years of satisfactory and relevant experience in the planning, design, project management, or construction of buildings. Proven experience in the installation/maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and heating services, including ICT wiring and containment. High-level administrative capacity and suitability for managing complex public-sector or healthcare-style infrastructure projects.
