The magic you'll performTake ownership of our test automation suiteYou'll maintain and improve our existing frameworks (Playwright + Cucumber), and ensure automated tests are tightly integrated into our CI/CD pipelines.Balance automation with hands-on testingWhile we aim for smart automation, you'll also roll up your sleeves to perform manual tests when context calls for it, especially for new features or edge cases.Help define what "quality" means at EmbeddableYou'll contribute to our quality strategy and bring a voice to risk-based testing, prioritising impact and user experience over theoretical perfection.Support production issue resolution and learningWhen customer-impacting issues occur, work with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams to help clarify and assess issues, support validation, and contribute to post-incident learnings and preventative improvements.Support confident releasesWork with engineering and product to ensure releases are well-tested, observable, and reversible.Mentor through influence, not authorityShare QA best practices, lead by example in code reviews and retros, and help raise the bar for everyone in the product and engineering team.
