The role
Tekno Surgical is recruiting for an Orthopaedic Trauma & Extremities Sales Specialist to join our growing Team in the Republic of Ireland.
Tekno distributes the Stryker Portfolio of Trauma & Extremity Implants and has a strong Market Share in the Republic of Ireland.
The role will be mainly
Munster/South based
, however the candidate will be required occasionally to service other regions as part of the ROI Trauma & Extremities Team.
The candidate would be preferably living in the Cork/Munster area.
Key Outcomes
The Specialist will be responsible for the complete Orthopaedic Trauma & Extremity Portfolio in each of their Accounts and develop a thorough understanding of same.
The Specialist will have full ownership and accountability for the management of each of their accounts.
The working environment will be mainly in the Operating Theatre where they will maintain a strong presence and assist customers with clinical, technical and commercial enquires.
The Specialist will aim to develop mutually profitable relationships with key customers and transform them into lasting business partnerships.
Responsible for developing and executing sales strategy in each of their Accounts, including achieving sales targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
Business planning and implementation throughout area of responsibility.
Development of new business opportunities and determination of new client and market potential through your contact with Customers, Colleagues, and the Companies who Tekno represents in the Irish Market.
Provide feedback on customers, promotional programs and environmental changes and provide ideas to improve product and company performance in the market place.
Attendance at relevant conferences and meetings both in Ireland and elsewhere.
Key Skills & Experiences
A Technical Qualification and an aptitude for learning new Surgical Technologies.
A minimum of 3+ years' successful track record in medical sales or healthcare service in the hospital environment is desirable.
Strong commercial and business acumen highly desirable.
Ability to carry out risk/return analysis.
Candidate must be ambitious and have the desire to drive business growth.
Organisational skills are key and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This role is customer facing and will require strong influencing skills.
Candidates must have the ability to be comfortable working in the Hospital Operating Room environment.
Role requires both Technical and Sales Skills, with a primary focus on Customer Service & Patient Safety.
The candidate must be self-motivated and have the ability to work well within a team.
Good administrative and computing skills are necessary.
