Aurora Endpoint Security Engineer 2 (m/f/d)
to be a part of making this happen.
About the Role
As an Endpoint Security Engineer 2, you will:
* Lead the implementation, integration, and optimization of
Aurora Protect
and
Aurora Focus
solutions.
* Act as a trusted advisor for customers, guiding them through deployments and serving as a technical escalation point.
* Configure and tune security rules to support effective threat detection.
* Monitor system dashboards and escalate irregularities to senior team members.
* Contribute to scripting and automation using
Python
or
PowerShell
.
* Create and maintain customer-facing documentation, such as setup guides and FAQs.
* Share client feedback with project leads and participate in continuous learning sessions.
What You'll Bring:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience (advanced degree preferred).
* 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles (e.g., Security Engineer, Consultant, SOC Analyst, or Endpoint Security Administrator).
* Basic knowledge of endpoint security tools and threat detection concepts.
* Exposure to scripting (Python, PowerShell) and willingness to grow these skills.
* Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and terminology.
* Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Business-level proficiency in English and German (required).
* Team-oriented mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow.
