Barrington James’s specialist Software & Electronics Division is currently searching for a Head of Technology/Senior Developer on a full‑time permanent basis in Sligo, Ireland. They are looking to move quickly.
(This opportunity is 2/3 days a week on site with flexibility in the near future)
To be considered for this position:
Essential: C++, Python, Embedded experience, Leadership potential
Desirable: Firmware, Electronics studies, MedTech experience
Responsibilities/Requirements
Lead engineering and technology initiatives, driving innovation and product development.
Manage embedded systems projects from concept through validation.
Lead and support a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers.
Identify and assess new technologies to support product strategy.
Strong background in embedded systems, software/firmware, and project delivery.
