Point of Care Team Lead
The Point of Care Team Lead oversees the development and maintenance of the Point of Care Testing (POCT) service, ensuring high-quality delivery and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS). This includes developing training programs for staff, managing equipment procurement and maintenance, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with ISO 15189 and JCI Accreditation Standards.
* Manage scientific work to required standards.
* Organize workload during busy periods.
* Procure and manage laboratory supplies.
* Evaluate and introduce new tests, equipment, and technology.
Requirements:
* CORU registration as a Medical Scientist.
* ACSLM recognized MSc in Biomedical Science.
* 4 years medical laboratory experience.
Essential Skills:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Able to self-manage time and duties.
* Proficient in computer applications.
