The Metropole Hotel is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Operations Manager to join the Senior Management Team.

Reports to: Group F&B Manager/General Manager

Under the guidance of the General Manager, assess, evaluate, and ensure that all Food & Beverage outlets meet their long-term and short-term goals. Manage all food & beverage activities to maximize revenue, profitability, and quality by developing marketing and up-selling strategies, controlling costs, and providing quality service and products in line with hotel and corporate guidelines.

TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assess, evaluate, and ensure food & beverage goals are met.
* Develop, implement, and evaluate business plans and strategies to maximize guest satisfaction, sales, and profitability.
* Monitor industry trends and practices to keep the hotel competitive.
* Conduct weekly inspections of F&B regions, ensuring facilities are well-maintained and recommending preventive measures.
* Participate in staff recognition, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
* Inspect F&B regions for cleanliness and maintenance.
* Review reservation and guest lists to ensure VIP guests are recognized.
* Be proficient in all F&B procedures to serve as a resource.
* Challenge employees to achieve optimal food costs and service standards.
* Control and analyze departmental costs, taking corrective actions as needed.
* Audit F&B services and quality regularly, developing improvement strategies.
* Coordinate activities with the Head Chef and Sales & Marketing teams.

Manage the F&B Department to achieve goals:

* Promote a culture of Passionate Pursuit of Perfection.
* Use leadership skills to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction.
* Monitor overall service quality and teamwork daily.
* Develop strategies to enhance guest service and operational efficiency.
* Analyze financial reports and implement corrective actions.
* Coordinate pricing and menu preparations considering market factors.
* Maintain updated recipes with sales history, costs, and production times.

Assist in preparing the food and beverage business plan and develop strategies to increase sales.
