Planning & Environmental Solicitor
We are partnering with a leading law firm in Dublin to recruit a Planning & Environmental Associate (2+ PQE) for their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high‑performing practice with a diverse range of clients and significant exposure to complex and high‑profile cases. The team advises on a wide variety of contentious and non‑contentious matters, including significant infrastructure, renewable energy, and development projects in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
Work on contentious and non‑contentious planning and environmental matters
Draft detailed legal opinions, court documentation, and provide strategic advice
Advise on regulatory risk, compliance issues, and environmental assessments
Support business development and play a key role in raising the team’s profile
Engage directly with clients and manage relationships with stakeholders across public and private sectors
The Person
2+ years’ PQE in planning and environmental law
Experience across contentious matters (judicial review experience is desirable)
Strong drafting and analytical skills
Ability to manage cases with minimal supervision
Commercially aware, client‑focused, and highly organised
