Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced sales professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager in the Irish market. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with key clients.
Responsibilities:
* Estimate the size of the Irish market and provide regular updates on an annual basis.
* Develop and maintain a live intelligence database, tracking future projects, tenderers, estimated values, and timelines, with monthly updates.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients through regular sales visits, intelligence gathering, and quotation requests.
* Build working relationships with County Councils and Irish Water, delivering technical presentations and increasing brand awareness among consulting engineers in the water sector.
* Ensure accurate costing of materials and labor for all projects, conducting due diligence on new clients before accepting sales orders.
* Take ownership of our company's LinkedIn page, engaging with external technical partners and promoting our services.
Qualifications and Experience:
* At least 5 years of sales experience within the utilities, consultants, and state agencies sectors.
* A relevant qualification in Engineering, Fabrication, or a similar field.
* Strong contract negotiation skills and ability to interact with various internal resources.
This is a full-time position based in Kerry, offering a company car, pension, and competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
