Business Analyst - Compliance

Albany Beck is seeking an experienced Compliance Business Analyst to support a significant programme of work within a leading financial services organisation. This role will focus primarily on the implementation of a Compliance Policy, with additional involvement in Compliance and Risk policy inter-dependencies across the three lines of defence.
This position is best suited to a business-focused Business Analyst or Compliance professional, rather than a technical BA. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a wider team.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing comprehensive administrative and coordination support to Compliance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within Wealth Management and Capital Markets
* Assisting with the drafting of procedure documents, templates, and supporting policy materials
* Preparing, formatting, and distributing reports, presentations, and other documentation as requested by SMEs
* Maintaining and updating issue logs, RAID logs, and relevant First Line of Defence (1LOD) materials
* Supporting the 1LOD team with prioritisation of activities based on urgency across the three lines of defence
* Scheduling and coordinating meetings with stakeholders across 1LOD, 2LOD, and 3LOD
* Taking accurate meeting minutes and tracking follow-up actions to completion
* Acting as a liaison between Compliance team members and other internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination
* Supporting ad hoc tasks and project activities as required by SMEs or senior team members
Key Requirements
* 3+ years' experience within the Financial Services industry (MiFID experience preferred)
* Experience providing administrative or coordination support in a fast-paced, regulated environment
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly
Excel and PowerPoint
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team
* Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, regulatory environment
