* Develop and implement effective strategies for complex caseload management, providing expert assessments and interventions that meet the needs of children and their families.
* Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior staff members, promoting evidence-based practice and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
* Take a lead role in service planning, innovation, and development within the child development discipline, contributing to research and quality improvement initiatives.
* Delegate tasks appropriately, supporting the growth and development of junior staff members while maintaining high standards of professional practice.
* Represent the child development discipline at internal and external meetings and conferences, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with:
* A recognised university degree or diploma in Psychology, obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours, and meeting the requirements of the Psychological Society of Ireland to work as a Clinical Psychologist.
* An Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology.
* Demonstrated competence in working with children and their families, and membership of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) or the British Psychological Society (BPS).
* At least five years' satisfactory post-graduate experience in professional psychology, with no less than two years full-time spent in post-qualification experience as a professional psychologist.
