We are currently recruiting for a Group General Manager to Join our Team at S Hotels .
About this Role : The Group General Manager will manage all aspects of the Hotel operations, across all 6 Hotels in the So Hotel Group, ensuring that each hotel delivers a consistently high result in terms of profit, whilst delivering a standard of guest service in line with Company requirements. This will be delivered while achieving business objectives and maximizing the profitability of both the Rooms and the Food and Beverage operations and maintaining effective cost controls across all 6 hotels. The Group General Manager/Cluster General Manager conducts business on a daily basis as if acting as an individual owner, largely dictating specific hotel leadership.

Group General Manager Key Personal Characteristics:
* Be a self-starter who has the capacity to operate with little supervision.

* Ability to demonstrate strong financial understanding, a real business aptitude, customer empathy and an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of hotel operations
* A Good communicator who is willing and able to share company goals, provide direction, and foster a sense of empowerment amongst the team to collectively attain business targets
* Honesty, integrity, loyalty, and commitment.
Group General Manager - Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the GMs across all 6 Hotels to focus on KPIs and business results, whilst ensuring a top class offering in terms of service, accommodation and food and beverage standards.
* Implement all agreed Group policies, strategies and plans and contribute to the development of these plans and standards
* Be part of the team, a hands-on leader, driving from the front, active, on the ground whilst remaining a mentor and coach to the Management in each hotel.
* Assist in the Control & plan of performance against targets and monitor individual department performances across each of the hotels, to maximise results.
* Develop and implement service standards in conjunction with the GMs, thus ensuring consistency and standard operating procedures.
* Take an active role in all Sales & Marketing activity across all hotels, involved in budget setting, and understanding business levels across all hotels, whilst preparing a plan to address any shortcomings and implementing a plan of action to address.
* Constant observation and involvement in on line ratings and guest satisfaction per hotel, driving results upwards through the establishment and maintenance of quality control standards for products & services offered across the hotels.
* Responsibility for the health, safety and well-being of customers and staff through the implementation of best practice Health & Safety processes and systems, investigation of all incidents, and a desire to reduce accident and incidents through tight management and close monitoring of risks which may contribute to same.
* Involvement in industry forums, networking across the industry and industry drivers, mindful of brand and reputation, and representing the group at all times in a professional manner.
* Appraise regularly the performance and development of all General Managers.
