We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in Java to join our dynamic tech consultancy firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive solutions that meet our clients' business needs. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. About the Role: Develop high-level architecture and design for complex systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and performance optimisation. Design and oversee the integration of various systems and technologies, including Java-based applications and other platforms. Collaborate with clients, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business goals. Assess and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks that best fit the project needs and client environment. Create detailed architectural documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and guidelines. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making to align technology solutions with business objectives. About You: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Strong understanding of architectural patterns and best practices. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Knowledge of databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and middleware technologies. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF) are a plus. Industry Experience: Experience in a consultancy firm or client-facing role is highly desirable.
