About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Extrusion Engineer to join our team in Galway. Job Description: * The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and running extrusion trials, developing new extrusion processes, and demonstrating key performance metrics. * We are looking for someone with experience in designing, manufacturing, and operating structures, machines, and systems. * You will work on special projects, write engineering change notices (ECNs), create prototypes, and perform other related duties as required. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field related to the department of assignment. A master's degree with four years of previous experience or a Ph.D. with two years of experience would also be considered. The requirements include strong extrusion experience with polymer knowledge desirable (wire cable pipe tube extrusions) ability to apply analytical skills scientific principles problem solving development demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets word processing database software programs.
