Experienced Gardener required for a Large Private Garden in Ireland
An experienced and qualified gardener is required to help in the maintenance of a large and impressive private garden in County Tipperary, Ireland, which includes herbaceous areas, a large selection of shrubs, lawns, over 700 roses, a kitchen garden, a 6-hole golf course, an arboretum, inner courtyards and an array of pots and planters.
Tasks required to maintain the garden
Weeding, mulching, grass and hedge cutting, strimming/edging, leaf blowing, planting, seasonal pruning and training, spraying for pests and diseases, watering and feeding.
Skills and experience required from the applicant
§ A qualified gardener with 3-5 years of relevant experience
§ Possess excellent all round plant knowledge and associated gardening skills
§ Skilled using garden machinery/tools including strimmers, mowers, tractors, etc.
§ Capability to work alone or with others depending on work requirements
§ An adaptable and flexible attitude is required in this high-end setting
§ The ability to blend in with an existing team of workers
§ Due to the location and type of work, a full driving licence is required
