As our IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will steer the delivery of technical solutions and support, maximizing our investment in IT while keeping an eye on the future. We're seeking a candidate with a proven record in customer-facing roles and a history of technology implementation and support.
In your role, you will be a lynchpin in supporting all ICT facets, including infrastructure, cloud, and application platforms. Your Impact
* Deliver robust technical solutions to optimize our investment in Information Technology.
* Provide IT support following ITIL standards.
* Install, configure, and maintain current and new infrastructure systems and applications.
* Strengthen and safeguard our IT infrastructure.
* Offer operational and administrative support to our global team.
* Act as a technical advisor to the IT Infrastructure Manager.
* Implement cloud-based and on-premise solutions.
* Execute daily operational tasks to ensure the seamless operation of IT systems.
* Collaborate on planned IT changes and contribute innovative ideas.
* Liaise with key staff and third-party partners on proposed or ongoing projects.
Ideal Candidate
* 3rd level qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
* Minimum of 3 years in the IT sector.
* Excellent English communication skills.
* Prior experience in a team environment.
* Inclination towards researching and adopting emerging technologies.
* Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
Technical Skillset
* Proficiency in IT Service Desk operations following ITIL standards.
* Comprehensive background in Infrastructure, Desktop & Server technical support.
* Expertise in Office 365 and Azure.
* Knowledge of Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, GPOs, DNS & WAN/LAN Technologies.
* Familiarity with virtualization tools such as VMware, Hyper-V hypervisors.
* Networking and Network Security Experience, covering LAN, Wi-Fi, and WAN.
* Proficiency in managing and configuring backups.
* Understanding of Cyber Security elements, such as AV, Anti-Malware, OS patching, IPS, SIEM, antispam etc.
* Experience with server/workstation installations, building, and configuration.
* Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting and SQL Database Queries.
* Expertise in SAN and NAS Storage systems.
* Experience in PC, Laptop, PI and Printer Hardware Support.
* Knowledge of ERP, MES, Payroll and similar enterprise systems

* Experience with automation and orchestration of infrastructure operational processes.
* Familiarity with Web-Based multi-tier (Web/App/DB) infrastructure.
* Experience with Public Cloud services.
