About the RoleThis is a pathway from training into sales.You will first learn the LiveCosts system, support new customers as they get set up, and understand how contractors use the platform. Once confident, you will begin running your own online demos and selling LiveCosts to other contractors.You will deal with Managing Directors, Quantity Surveyors, Finance Controllers and Buyers. The kind of people you already know well from your own career.About LiveCostsLiveCosts is construction cost tracking built by contractors for contractors. Our work brings real clarity to builders, QSs and finance teams by showing job costs, margins and budgets in real time. No more messy spreadsheets or missing invoices.Our aim is simple. Give every construction business firm control over their project costs.We are growing across Ireland, the UK, Australia and South Africa. We are looking for people from the industry who understand the day to day challenges and want to help others bring order and confidence to their cost control through technology.Stage 1: Training and Onboarding (3 to 6 months)You will learn:• How contractors use LiveCosts in real workflows• How to guide new customers through paid pilots• How to run online training sessions• How to translate real construction processes into LiveCosts stepsYour typical work:• Support new clients during pilots and training• Join live onboarding calls• Record customer feedback to help refine training• Shadow senior Account Executives during demosStage 2: Move into Account Executive (Sales)Once trained, you will take on a full sales role focused on demoing and selling LiveCosts to SMB construction companies.You will:• Run discovery calls and product demos• Understand each contractor's setup across Xero, spreadsheets, POs and more• Identify the main sticking points in their process• Show how LiveCosts removes those issues using live examples• Sell paid pilots and convert them to subscriptionsHave you worked in any of the following roles ?Managing Director, Owner, Operations or Commercial Director• Experience running or managing a small construction firm• Strong understanding of margins, purchase orders and forecasting• Possibly winding down an existing business or seeking a new off-site challenge• Keen to help contractors improve their cost controlFinance Team (Head of Finance, Accountant, Bookkeeper, AP Admin)• Deep understanding of job costing and reconciliations• Strong experience in Xero or Sage 50• Familiar with invoice processing and matching• Interested in automating manual finance workProject Managers, Quantity Surveyors or Contract Managers• Hands-on experience tracking job costs, POs and variations• Comfortable with digital tools• Understand the pressure of late or inaccurate reportingProcurement or Buying Professionals• Skilled in raising and managing purchase orders• Good supplier management• Understand how procurement influences project profitabilityIdeal Candidate• 5 to 10 years' experience in a construction company with turnover between €2m and €20m• Clear understanding of cost flow across site, POs, invoices, accounts and margin• Strong communicator and confident on video• Interested in technology and process improvement• Ambitious and ready for a move into software salesWhat You'll Get• Complete training on LiveCosts, discovery and sales process• Structured pathway to Account Executive within 6 months• Mentoring from experienced construction SaaS leaders• Competitive base salary and bonus• Remote first with flexible hours• A chance to help shape the future of construction technology
