We are seeking a Contract Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of service contracts through their full life-cycle, from development to implementation and monitoring.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Developing contract strategies and sourcing/tendering procedures;
* Negotiating terms and conditions with contractors and suppliers;
* Implementing and maintaining contracts in line with supply chain policies and guidelines;
* Ensuring timely and cost-effective fulfillment of service contracting needs;
* Managing commercial contracts, including tracking and evaluation of interim applications, re-measurement of work, evaluation of claims and variations, and settlement of final accounts;
* Monitoring contractor compliance and supplier performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management, preferably in an engineering or construction environment. They should possess excellent negotiation and communication skills, as well as a good understanding of quantity surveying methodologies.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in sourcing and contracting;
* Experience in managing high-complexity/high-risk contracts;
* Strong market knowledge of contractor capabilities and technical understanding of the services being contracted for.
