We are currently recruiting experienced and qualified electricians to support nationwide electrical inspection and maintenance works across water and wastewater facilities to join our team in Galway.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive inspections of electrical panels in line with client and regulatory standards
Test, diagnose, and rectify faults on control panels, MCCs, and associated electrical equipment
Undertake minor electrical modifications and upgrades where required
Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with health & safety procedures, method statements, and risk assessments
Accurately complete inspection reports, test results, and compliance documentation
Coordinate site access and works with site personnel and project teams
Assist with commissioning and decommissioning activities as required
Maintain tools, testing equipment, and PPE to a high standard
Requirements
Qualified Electrician with current Safe Electric registration
Minimum of 3 years' experience in industrial, utilities, or infrastructure-based electrical work
Proven experience working with electrical panels, control systems, and schematics
Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and compliance requirements
Full clean driving licence and flexibility to travel nationwide
Ability to work independently and manage site-based tasks
Strong communication and reporting skills
Desirable Certifications
Experience in water or wastewater treatment facilities
Confined Space Entry and Manual Handling certification
Knowledge of ATEX environments and hazardous area equipment
Familiarity with SCADA systems, telemetry, and remote monitoring
Valid CSCS card or equivalent

Pay: €34,217.04-€73,743.46 per year
