Compliance Manager - 12 Month Contract (11446)

Are you an experienced Compliance Manager with a passion for ensuring regulatory adherence and combating financial crime? We are seeking a dedicated professional for 12 months to join our dynamic team in Dublin. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential support to the Head of Compliance and be a guiding force for our staff on compliance and financial crime matters.
What will you be doing?
* Provide support to the Head of Compliance and provide advice and guidance to staff in relation to compliance and financial crime matters
* Review of new regulation and legislation and to analyse the impact it may have on the business
* Involvement in projects that require regulatory/compliance input
* Key focus on areas such as AML, MIFID II, Client Asset Requirements, Market Abuse Regulations, EMIR, Individual Accountability Framework, Central Bank Codes
* Review of firm-wide policies and procedures and controls in areas related to Compliance and Financial Crime
* Assist in communications with the Central Bank of Ireland and other regulatory authorities when required
* Development and provision of Board and staff training in compliance and financial crime areas
* Oversight and conducting monitoring as required to be carried out in order to meet regulatory requirements
* Support Compliance Team in Ireland as required
* Engagement with external legal advisors and consultants when required
* Attendance at Industry seminars and networking events related to Compliance and Financial Crime
What are we looking for in you?
* Legal, Professional or Business 3rd level qualification
* In depth experience within a Compliance role, with a strong understanding of Irish AML/CTF Legislation
* Excellent analytical and presentation skills
* A good working knowledge of Financial products and Markets
* An ability to work on your own initiative is a priority
* Natural team player, comfortable working closely in a team environment
* Attention to detail and accuracy is a requirement
* An inquiring mind and desire to develop and learn
* A strong work ethic and an enthusiasm to achieve
* Working knowledge of MiFID II
* Professional Diploma in Compliance (LCI) or other equivalent qualifications
* Experience in Compliance within a financial institution is required
