As the Manager Market Access for Innovation & Portfolio Medicines, reporting to the Head of Market Access & CEP for Ireland, you will maximise value for GSK by achieving and maintaining timely access for patients and optimal pricing for GSK innovation and portfolio medicines and vaccines from payers in Ireland. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop the market access strategy for new product launches as a key member of the commercial launch teams in collaboration with market access and cross-functional team colleagues in Ireland.

In this role you will have the following responsibilities, not limited to,
* Be the Market Access representative with responsibility for our early innovation pipeline within our launch teams to bring GSK & ViiV innovative assets to market through access programmes with public and private payers and addressing the medical unmet needs of patients and their HCPs
* Manage and mentor team members as assigned by the Head of Market Access & CEP
* Be the single point of contact for business heads on pipeline transition to launch
* Create and implement innovative access strategies and proactively identify pricing opportunities to be successful in an ever-changing healthcare environment
* Take ownership and responsibility for managing reimbursement processes to obtain and maintain timely access and optimal pricing
* Build productive relationships with key external stakeholders and authorities
* Track competitive insights, national health care trends and new access opportunities
* Develop and localise health economic models & tools as required
* Work on Real World Evidence studies with our GSK Value Evidence teams
Why you?
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
* 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
* Either degree or demonstrable experience in Health Economics
* Strong background and understanding of market access processes in Ireland
* Track record of successful pre-launch access planning and execution whilst delivering value optimisation for medicines post-launch.
* Negotiation experience and expertise from engagements with HSE and PHI payers
* Proven record in strategic thinking and successful project management
* Fluency in English, speaking and writing
Preferred Qualification & Skills:
* Academic degree in health economics, pharmacy, business administration or other life sciences is advantageous
* Experience of working in and contributing to a high performing cross-functional team
* Skilled communicator with a strong business acumen
* International work experience with people management
