Role Overview
The Jameson Brand Ambassador serves as a cultural catalyst, translating brand ambition into authentic experiences, building trust with bartenders, consumers, and trade partners, and igniting advocacy that scales across markets.
Responsibilities are split between field activities ******%) and office-based support ******%).
Key Responsibilities
Field Activities – *****%
– Share whiskey knowledge with consumers, bartenders, and sales teams; conduct tastings and educations; support brand creative activities; generate digital channel content.
Office-Based Support – *****%
– Assist the local marketing team with planning, execution, and evaluation of activations; produce monthly activity reports; process expenses; share market insights.
Brand Education
– Educate staff in key trade accounts, focusing on bartender education; run tastings for industry influencers and target consumers.
Brand Activation
– Identify and execute a range of brand activations, aligning with the local brand plan, to build awareness and create opportunities.
Cultural Advocacy
– Engage local cultural figures—musicians, creators, and connectors—to authentically drive brand awareness.
Content Creation
– Capture on-brand content for local and global brand channels.
Share of Mind
– Ensure the Jameson brand remains front of mind with consumers.
Qualifications & Skills
Relevant third-level qualification.
Minimum 3 years of bartending, hospitality, sales, or marketing experience.
Full, clean driver's licence and willingness to travel.
Full legal right to work in Ireland.
Experience in bartending or hospitality.
Interest in travel and cultural diversity.
Confidence in communication, strong presentation and influencing skills.
Outgoing, personable with excellent relationship-building ability.
Positive, proactive mindset with a strong "can-do" attitude.
Commercial awareness and sound business acumen.
Creative, innovative, and collaborative approach.
Self-motivated, reliable, able to work independently, with strong IT skills.
Adaptability to new countries, cultures, and situations.
