As a Team Lead Operations (Healthcare) at UPS, you manage a team of about 10 warehouse employees for the UPS Healthcare global business unit. Your role involves overseeing day‑to‑day service issues, coordinating operational activities, and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Handle day‑to‑day service issues within the operation.
Work with hourly and management staff to address process, safety, staffing, and training challenges.
Coordinate operational needs and efforts to meet customer satisfaction goals.
Facilitate smooth execution of procedures and overall system management.
Organize and optimize daily logistics operations, managing inbound, outbound, and customer service activities.
Ensure processes are understood, followed, and that orders are processed accurately.
Achieve agreed performance metrics while adhering to compliance and safety regulations.
Oversee operational onboarding for new customers.
Continuously seek ways to improve activities and processes.
Supervise warehouse employees, conduct performance appraisals, develop team members, manage illness procedures, and recruit new team members.
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
Warehouse and Operations Experience
Essential.
