Contracts Manager (Civils) – Kildare
D.O.E: €90K – €110K
Job Summary
Our client, a main contractor with projects across Ireland, is seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team in Kildare.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage project programmes, including tender‑stage planning and method statements.
Lead preconstruction activities: site logistics, temporary works, statutory notifications, and start‑up meetings.
Oversee design management, BIM coordination, and technical input during project delivery.
Ensure HSEQS compliance, risk management, and quality standards across all project stages.
Manage commercial performance, cost control, CVRs, and financial reporting.
Coordinate subcontractor selection, performance, and productivity to meet project milestones.
Supervise project team, QS, and Site Managers to ensure competence and effective resource allocation.
Monitor site progress, buildability, and drive improvements in programme or commercial outcomes.
Lead project close‑out, including commissioning, defect management, final accounts, and client handover.
Promote continuous improvement, lessons learned, and staff development through PDPs and mentoring.
Essential Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
10+ years experience in Civil Engineering works.
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager within the construction industry.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Strong IT and project management system skills.Ability to manage multiple sites and teams effectively.
Full Drivers licence.
