Quantity Surveyor Role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all commercial and financial aspects of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and to legal and quality assurance requirements.
To qualify for this role, you must have attained an appropriate degree in a relevant field or demonstrate at least 3 years' equivalent experience gained within the construction industry.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with all commercial aspects of allocated projects
* Preparation of monthly cost and value reconciliation reports
* Project cost control
* Manage and value variations
* Attend meetings for the agreement of final accounts
* Post contract liaison with clients
* Joint responsibility of managing contract costs including payments to sub-contractors
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent discipline
* 3+ years of experience with building contractor
* Ability to work both independently and within a team
* Organisational skills are crucial
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
* Proficient with IT software and packages
