We are seeking an experienced research nurse to support investigator-led research in a collaborative team environment.
About the Role
This role will involve coordination of clinical and translational aspects of projects, including direct interface with pathology departments, scientific collaborators, external laboratories and data scientists. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, computer literacy, organization and an awareness of time management.
Key Responsibilities
* Co-ordinate clinical and translational aspects of projects
* Clinical responsibilities
* Working with pathology for slide cutting and storage
* Coordination of sample distribution to labs and payments/invoices for correlative studies
* Keeping accurate logs of specimens and results, linking with Castor database where relevant
* Collection of clinical data from relevant databases when required for abstract preparation
* Sporting team meetings (minutes/agendas/follow up tasks) specific to the project
The ideal candidate will have a qualified nursing background, with experience in oncology or related fields being a strong advantage. This role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Qualified Nurse (Mandatory RGN, BSc)
* Oncology background or related experience would be a strong advantage
