Job Description
This role is pivotal to the success of our transfer agency operations in the alternative investments fund administration sector.
We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record of managing client relationships, overseeing daily cash and trade reconciliations, and acting as a point of escalation for technical issues.
The ideal candidate will ensure that policies and procedures are followed, apply best practices, and continuously seek enhancements to increase efficiency and productivity within the team.

Responsibilities:
1. Final sign-off on internal, client, and investor reporting to ensure accurate fund activity recording and adherence to agreed Policies and Procedures.
2. Take ownership of daily, cash, and trade reconciliations.
3. Oversight of the Transfer Agency team, managing key priorities, planning team work, and managing team resources, including recruitment.
4. Build and maintain client relationships through regular meetings and forums, ensuring effective communication and client satisfaction.
5. Act as a point of contact for client escalation.
6. Develop and implement key improvements on process, procedures, and new policy changes into the department.
7. Work with internal development on system enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity within the team.
Requirements:
1. Promote a risk awareness culture within the team to drive the zero error policy.
2. Proactively identify gaps in internal key controls and work with the wider TA manager/director group to close gaps.
3. Responsible for the effective management of the team and all associated HR Policies, performance, and career developments.
4. Participate in department-wide training efforts – draft and deliver training courses and facilitate 'on the job' training.
Qualifications:
1. Degree in Finance and/or Business-related area (minimum 2.2) or relevant working experience.
2. 4-6 years Fund Administration experience (preferable Hedge Transfer Agency) with at least 2 years people management experience.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
4. Experience in working to tight deadlines, multi-tasking, and working calmly under pressure.
5. Experience in Client Relationship Management is essential for this role.
6. Good working knowledge of AML and regulations impacting the industry.
