Our client is a well-established German industrial technology company with over 40 years of expertise in high-performance measurement and control systems. The company develops advanced real-time data acquisition solutions used in industrial automation, production lines, quality control, and test systems worldwide.
This role is focused on electronic hardware and PCB design, contributing to the development of industrial acquisition boards and embedded systems used in real-time environments.
Responsibilities:
— Design and develop multilayer PCBs using Altium Designer;
— Create schematics and support full PCB layout process;
— Collaborate with FPGA, firmware, and embedded software engineers during hardware/firmware co-design;
— Perform hardware bring-up, validation, and debugging of electronic boards;
— Select components and support BOM creation and optimization;
— Participate in prototype development and testing phases;
— Ensure compliance with industrial quality and reliability standards;
— Document hardware architecture and design decisions;
Requirements:
— 3+ years of experience in PCB design;
— Strong experience with Altium Designer;
— Experience designing multilayer industrial boards;
— Solid understanding of digital and analog electronics;
— Experience with hardware validation and debugging;
— Familiarity with industrial communication interfaces (SPI, I²C, UART, Ethernet);
— Experience working in structured engineering processes;
— Fluent English;
Would be a plus:
— Experience working with FPGA-based systems;
— Knowledge of EMC/EMI considerations;
— Experience in industrial or automotive electronics;
