We know our people are our greatest asset and our success is down to the commitment and dedication of our team.Our Head Office Logistics Department is looking for a confident, driven and analytical individual to join their growing team as a Senior Logistics Project Manager. You will be a fundamental part of the team providing project management, logistics consultancy and strategic direction to the business. The role will support the development of the Lidl IE/NI logistics function, specifically focusing on capacity analysis and WH infrastructure to support the future needs of the business as well as the rollout and implementation of national and international projects, concepts, and processes. This is an ideal opportunity for a technically minded, proactive, dynamic, and creative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.What You'll DoYou will support the regional logistics teams with updates and use of our logistics warehouse management systems, Wamas and SAP EWMSupport and train end users whilst playing a fundamental part in the roll-out of system updates, new releases, and operational projectsResolve site specific and wider system issues working with IT, HO, and INT departmentsCo-ordination and point of contact for project ideas and proposals and roll outs for improvements concerning specific departmental matters from RDCs, other national departments and Lidl Head OfficeAssuring a proactive cross-departmental flow of information and exchange of knowledge between national departments, RDCs and Lidl Head OfficeProviding after care, support, and follow-up of the implementation of new projects and optimisation of processes, concepts, and systems and conducting cost benefit analysisProducing KPI assessments and project documents and support tools, e.g., for Logistics cost management control and presentations for meetings and KPI achievementContinuous analysis, quality assurance and optimisation of Logistics procedures, processes, concepts, systems, and derivation of targeted measuresDevelopment of practical proposals for solutions to standardisation, simplification, and digitalisationPlanning, control and monitoring of department specific Logistics projects, including regular check in and review of the efficiency of all projectsTranslating the adaptations of international specifications to country-specific circumstancesMonitoring the International Logistics communication platform and sending to the regional teams as necessary / ARIS processes / audit compliance / H&S initiativesEnsure full buy-in and engagement from regional end users and promote a culture of continuous knowledge sharingWhat You'll NeedHighly organised with an ability to manage your own workload, whilst prioritising conflicting deadlinesStrong communication and presenting skills with a keen eye for detailProactive and creative approach to logistics with an ability to consider the bigger picture, challenge processes and actively think outside the box whilst encouraging others to do the sameDriven attitude to achieve results and defined project goals, being quick to learn new ideas and conceptsConfident working with numbers and large data sets to conduct analysis and present findingsThe ability to project manage and take active ownership of tasks and projects whilst supporting colleagues through the change cycle – and actively addressing conflict managementGreat team spirit and cooperation with all stakeholders Nationally and Internationally is essentialExisting knowledge and experience of Logistics and Warehousing is preferredThird-level degree desirableAbility to speak German an advantageWhat You'll ReceiveWe offer a competitive and transparent salary system, that ensures pay equality across all positions at Lidl€76,000 rising to €100,000 over 4 yearsCompany car (optional)25 days holidays per annumPrivate employee medical insuranceCompany pension after six months of serviceFlexible start and finish timesInitial training and on-going development from an experienced team memberExcellent opportunities for career progressionIndividuals recognised as high performing will be invited to join our Leadership Academy as part of your on-going developmentDynamic work environmentModern office facility with free parkingOn-site gym and canteenHybrid working model - up to 2 days remote working per weekMobile and broadband discounts with Three networkLidl is an equal opportunities employer.
