Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to provide emotional and practical support to clients through comprehensive EAP services.

* Managing online referrals promptly and accepting/declining cases within agreed timeframes.
* Contacting clients to arrange the first appointment within agreed timeframes.
* Offering short term counselling to clients from 3 to 8 sessions (differs on a case to case basis).
* Providing written/verbal feedback and case notes in a timely manner.
* Reporting back to our Case Management Team in the event of risk.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma in counselling, be registered with a professional body, and have at least 450 hours of counselling experience. They must also be able to work within a theoretical approach appropriate for our short-term counselling model and within an EAP context.

The successful candidate will possess excellent assessment and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with email-based referral procedures and online systems. They will also be IT literate and able to work with Microsoft Word and email.


Required Qualifications

A diploma in counselling is essential for this role, along with registration with a professional body. The ideal candidate will also have at least 450 hours of counselling experience.

They must be able to work within a theoretical approach appropriate for our short-term counselling model and within an EAP context.
