This role is suited to an intermediate-level engineer (5–10 years' experience) who enjoys owning projects end-to-end. The initial focus will be on small to medium-sized capital and infrastructure projects, providing autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to deliver work from concept through to handover. As the role develops, there will be scope to contribute to larger and more complex projects. The position would suit candidates with a Civil Engineering background and exposure to Building Services, or those from a Building Services background with strong civil experience.Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of small to medium-sized civil and infrastructure projects, managing them through all project stagesPlan and coordinate site works including groundworks, drainage, structural works, and site infrastructure upgradesManage contractors and consultants on a live operational siteCoordinate civil works with mechanical and electrical services to ensure effective project integrationReview and approve drawings, specifications, method statements, and risk assessmentsEnsure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budgetAct as a key point of contact for stakeholders across engineering, operations, and external partnersSupport continuous improvement across project delivery and site infrastructureExperience & QualificationsDegree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline5–10 years' experience delivering civil, infrastructure, or site-based projectsExperience working in industrial, manufacturing, pharma, or complex commercial environmentsPractical exposure to both civil/structural and building services elementsStrong knowledge of health & safety, contractor management, and live site workingConfident communicator with good organisational and problem-solving skillsWhy Join Arcadis?At Arcadis, we empower individuals to excel because your contributions matter.
