Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Child Behaviour Intervention Specialist to join our dynamic Children's Teams in CHO4 - North Cork.
The successful candidate will work with children and their families to develop and implement effective behaviour support plans, utilising function-based interventions and positive behaviour support strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough assessments of children's behaviour, identifying underlying causes and developing targeted intervention plans.
* Work collaboratively with children, their families and relevant professionals to implement and evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour support plans.
* Design and deliver training programs for parents and carers on behaviour management techniques.
Requirements:
* Masters Degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis (or equivalent)
* Training in Positive Behaviour Support
* Minimum 3-5 years experience working as a Behaviour Therapist/Specialist with children with intellectual disabilities/complex need
