We are looking for a talented Construction EHS Engineer to join our team at our Cork, Ireland office.
In this role, you will assist with maintaining compliance with EHS policies and regulations for engineering services, construction projects, and validation/compliance services. You will be based on client sites to audit and inspect project compliance, as well as assist in administrative compliance activities when needed.
Position Responsibilities
1. Support construction project teams with subcontractor qualifications, safety plan development, safety plan implementation, project compliance inspections, and EHS regulatory guidance.
2. Research regulations and assist with construction site EHS compliance.
3. Perform EHS compliance audits and inspections at project sites.
4. Record and report audit findings and assist with corrective actions.
5. Manage weekly safety statistics and reporting systems.
6. Provide on-site EHS support for projects requiring continuous oversight.
7. Review and evaluate daily “Safe Plan of Action” developed by subcontractors.
8. Attend meetings and support administrative functions of the EHS department.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in safety, engineering, or a related field.
* 5-10 years of Construction Safety experience.
* Knowledge of construction safety topics such as RAMS review, Permitting, Fall Protection, Trenching and Shoring, Crane Lifts, Steel Erection, Hot Work, Confined Space, Emergency Plans, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in pharmaceutical Design/Build/Validate processes is a plus.
