My client is looking for a
hands-on Manufacturing Engineer
to support high-volume manufacturing cells at their Swords facility. This role suits someone with a strong mechanical/manufacturing background who enjoys being on the shop floor and driving continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
* Supporting and improving existing manufacturing processes
* Defining and validating processes for new or upgraded products
* Supporting assembly jigs, fixtures, and test equipment
* Process analysis, quality reporting, and problem solving
* Working closely with production teams and design engineers to ensure products are designed for assembly
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a mid to high-volume manufacturing environment
* Hands-on mindset with strong problem-solving skills
* Team-focused with a proactive, can-do attitude
Desirable experience:
* Lean / Six Sigma tools
* Data analysis (Excel, Power BI, SQL, VBA)
* Industry 4.0 or real-time manufacturing data
* Fixture design and technical drawings (GD&T)
