This is a full-time on-site Salesperson role located in County Cork, Ireland. We are seeking a Junior Technical salesman/saleswoman to support the commercial growth of our transport ticketing solutions by assisting in the promotion and sale of both mobility and non-mobility solutions across the company and the wider group portfolio.Working closely with senior sales, product, and technical teams, the successful candidate will help identify opportunities, prepare proposals, deliver product demonstrations, and ensure smooth coordination throughout the sales cycle.This role combines customer engagement with a developing technical understanding of our systems, including ticketing hardware, software platforms, payment solutions, and value‑added services.This is an ideal junior‑level position for someone who is motivated, tech‑curious, and eager to build a career in the mobility and transport technology sector.Ideally, someone with 1-2 years post-graduate technical sales experience.Main DutiesAssist in identifying new business opportunities and nurturing early‑stage customer relationships.Support the sales team in promoting mobility and non‑mobility products, including ticketing systems, hardware, software, and service packagesPrepare sales proposals, quotations, and supporting documentationDeliver product demonstrations and presentations to customers and partnersGather customer requirements and translate them into technical inputs for internal teamsMaintain up‑to‑date CRM records, sales activities, and pipeline informationParticipate in customer meetings, workshops, and industry eventsProvide first‑level technical explanations and support during the sales processSupport pilot deployments, trials, and solution evaluations when requiredPerson SpecificationBasic understanding of technical concepts (software, hardware, systems)Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Great technical academic record.Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, simple way.Comfortable preparing presentations, proposals, and documentationGood understanding of business and commercial issues within a market and product driven organisation.Knowledge of public transport/ticketing industry is an advantage.Self-motivated, adaptable, and commercially aware.Essential SkillsExcellent knowledge of Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, Youtube, Pinterest, Linkedin, Twitter and other social media best practices.Engineering Background (Third Level Qualification required)Health & Safety StatementUnder the health & Safety at work Act, everyone has a legal responsibility for their own welfare and for the health and safety of others.
