Capex Recruitment are working in partnership with a build construction firm based in Tullamore on the appointment of a Senior Buyer.

Key Responsibilities: Sourcing and buying a wide range of materials, ensuring all materials are on site and on time Negotiate best price and lead times with new and existing suppliers whilst continually monitoring performance and ensuring all materials meet the standards required Frequently liaise with site managers, project teams, and quantity surveyors to forecast materials required Monitor delivery schedules and stock levels to ensure smooth day-to-day operations Work with a continuous improvement mindset, implementing process improvement and cost reduction projects Requirements: A minimum of 5 years procurement experience, 2 of which at a senior level Proficient with software packages as well as all Microsoft Office packages This role will offer the opportunity of stepping into a Procurement Management position.
