About Your New Job As the Site Development Engineer you will: Assist the Construction and Development Director moving projects forward from initial site checks and technical reviews through to completion. Review engineering and architectural plans to make sure they are practical, cost-effective, and meet regulations. Coordinate and manage teams of architects, engineers, and consultants. Review and challenge engineering design proposals, infrastructure layouts, and construction methodologies. Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications Manage design development through pre-construction stages Track construction progress and quality during the build, ensuring timelines are met. Ensure compliance with Irish building regulations, BCAR requirements, Health & Safety legislation, and all relevant technical standards. Manage the process of handing over completed projects to local authorities, including all required paperwork and stakeholder communication. What Skills You Need Qualification in Engineering (Civil, Structural or Building Services), Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline. 8-12 years experience in engineering, project management, or development delivery within the Irish construction or property sector. Strong understanding of engineering design, infrastructure delivery, and construction methodologies. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams. Good working knowledge of Irish planning processes, building regulations, and BCAR compliance. Strong commercial awareness and cost management capability.
