Your role
We are currently hiring a Tax Manager/ Assistant Manager in our Employment Tax & Global Mobility Services (ET & GMS) team within our Tax Advisory Services division. We seek an individual with a particular interest in advising on employment taxes and global mobility, providing advice to domestic and international businesses on a range of issues, including:
All aspects of employment taxes e.g. BIKs, tax‑free employee incentives, ERR, PAYE health checks, Revenue PAYE audits, share‑based remuneration, termination/redundancy payments.
All aspects of global mobility tax matters e.g. inbound and outbound assignments, cross‑border commuters, remote workers.
Employment tax & global mobility tax compliance e.g. personal tax returns for inbound and outbound assignees, A1s / CoCs, share scheme returns, SARP‑related returns, etc.
Key responsibilities
Work on a varied client portfolio, with opportunities to develop and manage your own portfolio.
Be part of a dedicated team focused on employment taxes and global mobility.
Demonstrate tax technical expertise in the areas of employment taxes and global mobility.
Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
Advance people‑management skills, including managing and mentoring junior team members.
Collaborate with the Forvis Mazars international community and learn from an extensive range of experts.
Hold a CTA qualification.
Have a strong academic background.
Possess strong technical skills and detailed knowledge of employment taxes, global mobility and social security matters in Ireland.
Communicate effectively and work as part of a successful team.
Have experience reviewing personal tax returns for internationally mobile employees and related applications (e.g., A1 and Certs of Coverage applications, SARP, etc.).
Have worked in a client‑facing tax team.
Be organized, a self‑starter and a team player.
Work efficiently to meet deadlines and encourage others to do the same.
Be driven, ambitious and passionate about continuous personal and professional development.
