The Digital Account Executive facilitates Microsoft to better serve our Medium Enterprise managed clients, realize their potential and help them on their Digital Transformation journey. You will add value by developing and maintaining customer relationships that include building relationships with executives at the Chief‑level (CxO) as well as other Business and Technical Decision Makers within the customers’ organizations.


Responsibilities

* Customer Engagement
o Generate new pipeline by engaging with CXOs, IT Decision Makers, and Business Development Managers through territory planning, marketing signals, and digital assets.
o Act as the central point for maintaining customer relationships and advocates for customers within Microsoft.
o Surface customer organization structure to identify decision makers and leverage partners and v‑teams.
o Engage with C‑Suite executives, focus on customer satisfaction metrics, take ownership of issues, and reinforce engagement.
o Ensure continuity of customer accounts and proactively establish conditions of satisfaction at the outset of engagement while managing escalation processes.
* Account Management
o Strategically manage sales territory, setting standards and priorities, and outlining how to leverage specialized and technical resources and other roles.
o Help existing/new customers adopt cloud solutions via a cohesive plan across ads, consumption, upsell, co‑sell motions, and renewal to maximize customer business outcomes and experience.
o Understand and accelerate customer’s AI and cloud strategy.
o Build sufficient pipeline to sustain a growing and sustainable business each quarter.
* Partnering
o Build partner relationships to drive scale and revenue; coach and influence partners to consider different solution needs.
o Coordinate resources across teams to execute territory plans with partners, lead teams on territory management practices, validate plans, drive accountability and coach teams to exceed plans.
o Drive strategic partner participation and hold partners accountable to contribute to the territory plan.
* Maintain Product, Solution and Industry Proficiency
o Proactively build and maintain knowledge of Microsoft’s products, landscape, solutions, and strategy in assigned accounts, as well as the customer’s business strategy and industry direction.
o Orchestrate specialized resources to engage with customers, providing solutions‑based and technology‑based engagement to help customers address challenges and opportunities.
o Leverage additional resources such as partners to engage with the customer and provide the right solution on their transformation journey.


Qualifications

* Required Qualifications
o Demonstrated sales and negotiation experience with year‑over‑year growth OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing or related field AND several years of sales and negotiation experience, OR a Master’s Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing (or equivalent) AND several years of sales and negotiation experience.
o Strong skills in digital engagement and managing relationships in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
o Proficiency in leveraging digital tools to build customer relationships and execute account plans.
* Preferred Experience
o Technology sales experience.
o Experience with social impact, FMCG or public sector organizations (beneficial but not required).
o Experience engaging and presenting at scale through digital platforms to business decision makers, including CXOs.
o Familiarity with Microsoft’s Cloud and AI portfolio of solutions.
