The Opportunity This is a key HR leadership role overseeing all people, culture, and communication initiatives within the organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Executive and Remuneration Committees, the HR Manager will shape the people strategy, drive engagement, and ensure the continued development of a high-performing and values-driven workplace. You will lead a small HR team and play a central role in aligning culture, performance, and capability with strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities Culture & Engagement Champion an inclusive and collaborative culture aligned with company values. Lead employee engagement initiatives and report regularly on culture and engagement outcomes. Manage internal communications and act as a trusted advisor to leadership. Talent & Development Drive the annual people development plan and oversee learning and succession planning. Support managers with coaching, performance management, and talent mapping. Ensure best-practice recruitment and onboarding processes aligned with regulatory standards. Reward & Governance Manage remuneration policies, benefits, and performance-linked reward processes. Act as secretary to the Remuneration Committee, preparing relevant papers and ensuring compliance with governance standards. Conduct regular benchmarking to maintain competitive and fair compensation structures. Employee Relations & Compliance Ensure HR policies and practices comply with Irish legislation and company standards. Maintain strong employee relations and provide guidance on HR matters to leadership and staff. Oversee HR data, payroll accuracy, and GDPR compliance. Strategic Projects Represent HR on company-wide initiatives and transformation projects. Partner with the CEO and CFO on headcount planning and HR budgeting. About You Degree-qualified in HR or related field, with 10+ years HR experience, including at least 5 years at managerial level. Financial services or insurance sector background preferred (knowledge of Solvency II or regulatory frameworks advantageous). Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach. Confident operating at both strategic and hands-on levels in a lean organisation.
