This role is suited to experienced compliance professionals seeking a visible and impactful position in a reputable financial services company. Ideal candidates will have:
* 5+ years' experience in a second-line compliance role within financial services
* In-depth knowledge of Irish and EU regulations (e.g. Solvency II, GDPR, Fitness & Probity)
* A relevant professional qualification (LCI, ICA Diploma or equivalent)
* Strong communication skills with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
* Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
Role and Reporting Lines
Reporting to the Head of Compliance for Ireland, this role is part of a high-performing second-line function. Responsibilities include:
* Compliance Monitoring – Help design and deliver a robust risk-based compliance monitoring programme
* Regulatory Advice – Advise on regulatory developments and business initiatives, supporting risk mitigation
* Reporting – Prepare reports for senior management, board committees, and regulators
* Policy Management – Maintain up-to-date compliance policies and ensure organisation-wide understanding
* Regulatory Engagement – Manage inspection readiness and handle regulatory information packs
* Process Optimisation – Identify opportunities to enhance processes using data and technology
