Quality Control Specialist Position Overview
The key responsibility of this role is to manage the procurement and validation of laboratory instruments, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration support.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support a Calibration and/or Maintenance Service for laboratory instruments related to maintenance and lifecycle management.
* Review and approve analytical instrumentation qualification, calibration, repairs, and documentation.
* Evaluate instrument maintenance and verification processes to ensure they are appropriate for the intended use.
* Manage investigations into instrument-specific issues such as calibration deviations, trending lab instrument performance, and lifecycle management.
Key Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, science).
* Proven experience in quality control, laboratory operations, or a related field.
* Familiarity with laboratory instruments and equipment.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
