This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the Head of Trading Desk and senior traders to design and develop strategic trading software solutions that directly influence trading performance. It is a high-visibility, high-impact position suited to skilled developers who thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments where technology and strategy intersect.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and enhance C# applications that support and drive real-time trading strategies.Collaborate directly with traders, quantitative analysts, and the Head of Trading Desk to develop tools and analytics that enable informed decision-making.Build and maintain high-performance, low-latency systems supporting execution, pricing, and strategy development.Manage the full software development lifecycle—from concept and design through to deployment and production support.Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks, ensuring systems scale effectively with evolving business needs.Contribute to the architecture and evolution of our client's front office trading systems, prioritizing reliability, efficiency, and innovation.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.A minimum of 8 years' professional experience developing server-side applications in C#/.NET.Strong understanding of object-oriented design, concurrency, and real-time systems.Proven experience in delivering high-performance or low-latency applications.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work directly with traders, quantitative researchers, and technology leaders.Previous experience in a front office environment or with trading system development is highly desirable.Familiarity with Python or WPF/MVVM frameworks is advantageous.A genuine passion for building robust, efficient, and scalable software solutions that deliver measurable impact.
