We are seeking a talented Construction Project Manager to join our Dublin, OH office.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as Construction Project Manager on public works or architectural projects.
* Prepare project budgets and monitor project status throughout construction. Handle project billing as required.
* Supervise all assigned field staff daily.
* Review shop drawings and submittals, coordinate with design engineers, and assist as needed.
* Evaluate ongoing work daily for compliance and progress.
* Manage communication with agencies, clients, engineers, and contractors.
* Organize and lead pre-construction and project meetings, document minutes, and distribute to stakeholders.
* Address contractor issues related to plans and specifications, coordinating resolutions with project stakeholders.
* Assess work for compliance, and determine acceptance or rejection based on standards.
* Review and process design change requests from owners and contractors.
* Analyze extra work costs, negotiate prices, and ensure fairness.
Qualifications:
* 10+ years of experience in construction or contracting.
* Bachelor’s or associate degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, or related fields.
* PE license is required.
* Proven project management and business development skills.
* Experience in site development, trades such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing.
* Knowledge of construction management and inspection/testing.
* Strong self-motivation and desire to advance.
* Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle required.
