ESTIMATOR: We are a dynamic and growing construction firm with a strong track record in delivering high-quality commercial and residential projects across Ireland. We're currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team and support a key client in the construction and architectural sector.
The Client
Our client is a well-established, multi-disciplinary group operating across the construction supply chain. With decades of experience, they specialize in integrated solutions including manufacturing, installation, and maintenance for large-scale building systems. Their portfolio spans high-profile commercial developments, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and public infrastructure projects throughout Ireland and beyond. They are known for their technical expertise, quality workmanship, and sustainable building practices.
The Role
The successful Estimator will be based in the Dublin office, and will be responsible for the following:
* Analysis of client specifications and drawings and prepare estimates based on requirements
* Liaise with design personnel to ensure specifications are met
* Highlight areas of risk in the cost proposal
* Preparation and submission of tender documents to client organisations
* Sourcing and procurement of equipment and material requirements
* Attending presentations and client meetings when required
The Person
For this estimator role, we are looking to speak to candidates that can display the following:
* This role is open to experienced candidates as well as less experienced candidates and remuneration will reflect experience and skill set
* Candidates will ideally have a minimum of 1 year prior experience in an estimating role
* Candidates with experience in related roles such as design, architecture, junior engineer or project engineer and have exposure to bidding, tenders and estimating will also be considered
* Candidates with qualifications in architectural technology will have a distinct advantage
